Terms of Service

One2One provides live, one-to-one online tutoring. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “One2One” mean the operator of the one2one.academy website; “you” means the person booking sessions (a parent, guardian or adult student) and, where relevant, the student attending them.

• You can book as a guest. When payment succeeds we create an account for you and send temporary sign-in details so you can manage your sessions.
• You must give accurate contact details. Booking confirmations, sign-in details and session links are sent to the email address you provide.
• If the student is under 18, a parent or guardian must make the booking and remains responsible for the account.
• Keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity on your account.

• Sessions are charged at a flat hourly rate, shown on the site before you pay.
• Prices may be displayed in your local currency as a guide. Payment is taken in GBP or USD, and the charge currency is shown at checkout.
• Payment is taken in full at the time of booking through our payment provider. We never see or store your full card details.
• Your bank may apply its own conversion or international fees; these are outside our control.

• Each session is one hour of live, one-to-one online tuition at the time you selected.
• A joining link is created for every session and appears in your dashboard and confirmation email. The link becomes active 15 minutes before the start time.
• We match sessions to a suitable tutor. We may change the assigned tutor where necessary and will tell you if we do.
• You need a reliable internet connection, a device with a camera and microphone, and a quiet space. We are not responsible for sessions disrupted by your own equipment or connection.

Cancellations, rescheduling, refunds and account credit are covered in our Cancellations & Refunds Policy, which forms part of these terms.

• Sessions may be recorded so the student can review them. Recordings are available to stream from the student dashboard for 7 days and are then removed.
• Recordings, assignments, quizzes and resources are for the student's personal study only. You may not download (where streaming only is offered), copy, publish, sell or share them.
• We own or license the content on this site and in our materials. Nothing here transfers ownership to you.

• Treat tutors, students and staff with respect. We may end a session and suspend an account for abusive, discriminatory or unsafe behaviour.
• Do not attempt to arrange or pay for tuition with a One2One tutor outside the platform.
• Do not misuse the site, attempt to access other people's data, or interfere with its operation.

Tutors apply, are reviewed and are approved by us before they teach. Tutors are engaged as independent professionals and are responsible for their own tax affairs. Tutor payouts, availability changes and related fees are governed by the tutor agreement provided during onboarding.

• We will provide tutoring with reasonable care and skill.
• We cannot guarantee particular exam results, grades or school places.
• We are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable, or for loss of opportunity. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury or fraud caused by us.
• Where a session is not delivered because of something we did, our liability is limited to re-running the session or refunding what you paid for it.

We may update these terms. The version published on this page at the time of your booking applies to that booking. Significant changes will be notified by email.

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which One2One is established, and its courts have jurisdiction. Questions about these terms: info@one2one.academy.
